Darren and Beyond!

So lately I have been deeply immersed in a photography project. I put out the call to local cosplayers offering free shoots and I got quite a bit of material for my cosplay photography project. But one shoot was very different from all the others... I got the chance to shoot a cosplayer named Darren doing his "Batman Beyond." What made this shoot special is Darren is THREE YEARS OLD! He was adorable - and awesome! He got really into his poses, was patient - just an all around great kid! I actually had a vague idea that I was going to do this composite while we were shooting, so I had him pose with and without the mask in the same basic pose. This is the result

Strobist info: still using my Joel Grimes inspired setup - 2 gridded softboxes 2 each side of the model - 1 gridded softbox in front of the model, above and to camera right, and one bare flash in front to camera right (bounced off the concrete).
